"3 Dreams of Black" is a rather mind-boggling "interactive music video" for Rome created by Chris Milk using Mr. Doob's Three.js 3D framework. It requires Google Chrome or another WebGL capable browser to view.
This sort of work does a nice job of showcasing the practical uses of an emerging technology like WebGL. Artists can make headlines with an interactive experience on the web, and people become more aware of cutting-edge standards-based technologies in the process. For those interested in the tech behind the video, there is a "making of" page available here which features some nice demos of the 3D models used in the video.
